Prologue - During the 90’s, regions such as Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley, and the Inland Empire adopted this style of dance music known as “House” which originated from the Chicago underground scene. It soon made its way into mainstream pop and into the hearts of thousands of young Latinos in search of an identity. Thus emerged the party crews. House deejays became celebrities in their own right as “mixing” evolved into a global phenomenon. This story explores this era and the events that set the trends for years to come.
